Back it up

So somehow I deleted a folder on my computer and somehow it deleted my ENTIRE picture folder!!! All my pics Sawyers baby pics, wedding pics, dating pics, vacation pics... EVERYTHING!

Well this sounds horrible and it would be if Dave and I hadn't decided to buy an external hard drive last year. We back up our computer about once a month. So I did end up loosing some pics, but only about 2 weeks worth.

An external hard drive works like a very large USB drive. You plug it into you computer, copy your files to it and unplug it. All your files are on there just the way you left them.

We are planning on buying another one to store at my dads house too.

I got a small glimpse into how I would feel if I lost everything. I do have scrapbooks, but I don't print everything. I would be completely DEVASTATED!

So many things can happen to computers, (stolen, crash, virus, user error), so please spend 50-100 bucks and back up your files!!!

We went for a little drive up to Snow Basin and it was so beautiful. We live in such a great place.

Last night Sawyer and I were just looking at the sunset so I had Dave snap this cute pic of us. I really love holding him. Sometimes I imagine when he's older and I'll say, "Oh I remember how little you used to be and how I could just hold you."

Daves Birthday

Sometimes with all this tecnology, I forget which sites I have updated.

This is the cute cake I made for Daves Birthday. It's a lawn mower. Dave loves mowing the lawn. He just enjoys doing it and I love that he does.

Sawyer loves food and sometimes I can't feed him fast enough. He is such a good little boy!

This is the plan!

I started P90x and it's been really great! The workouts are tough, but a lot of fun! I thought it would be fun to "cheat" and give myself a bikini body. Although something looks kinda off on these... (I'm not the best at photoshoping new faces!)

Just wait till October 31st! That's my 90 day mark and I will be looking great! Stayed tune!

So I guess this means it's time to do the dishes...
