Sawyers First Bath!

So I really love this kid and I am already planning when I can have another one!! He is so much fun and he brings so much joy to our lives!

We gave him his first bath a little while ago and it was so funny! He wasn't that fond of the sponge baths because he would get cold. We could tell he knew what was coming and was getting ready to cry, then we set him in the warm water and he loved it!

Free insulation

Questar is offering a rebate for adding extra insulation in your home. This rebate covers the cost to add R-19 insulation to your home. Also Rocky Mt Power has a rebate available if your home is under R-19, with these 2 rebates you can save $$ every month on your heating bills, without it costing you!!
So basically you are getting a ton of insulation for FREE!
We did this to our house and noticed a big difference in the bills and the need for extra heat.
Dave (my dad) can come out , take a look in your attic and tell you what you quality for. This is a great opportunity available now . (This will not last forever)
Call Dave to set up an appointment . He can come check your home, your kids home, and your neighbors! He will give you all the information you need to collect the rebate.

(pass this on!)This is one you want to take advantage of. Insulation requirements have made huge changes in the last few years and with settling even on a home 3 years old you can save money every month by increasing your insulation.

He's HERE!

Oh man I am in love!
Well Friday started like any other day. I woke up to go to the bathroom and then my water broke! I wasn't sure at first, but after a min I knew it did.
I wasn't having any contractions so I just went to my doctors office for my 9:00am apt. The nurses were so funny and told me to go to the hospital. They called over to make sure I had a good room and a good nurse.
We took our time heading over because still no contractions. We cleaned the house, packed the bags and then were off.
We got all checked in and set up. I changed into my beautiful hospital gown and got all hooked up to the machines.
They put me on patosin because still not contractions. After about an hour I had them up it because I was still not feeling anything. Well 20 min later I was definitly having contractions! I got my epidural a while later and then took a little nap.
By 7:00pm I was a 10 and the doc said, "OK, you should be a mom in about 15 min!"
I was excited and we started pushing, but then after AN HOUR AND HALF Sawyer was still not coming. The doc thought that we may need to do a C-Section. While pushing my guts out (almost literally) I got sick and was throwing up (if this is too much info just stop reading :) ) Well the puking actually helped push him down a little more and 20 min later he was stuck again because he was so big. A nurse had to climb up on the bed and push on my stomach.
Then HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He was here and I was so exhausted. Dave was in shock because he didn't think he'd see so much action.
Sawyer David Dance weighed 9lbs 3oz! He was so big! I could barely hold him because my arms were shaking from fatigue.
We are so happy and in love with this little guy.

Uhh... Sure we're ready!?

Look at these faces... Fully rested, hair done, and completely oblivious as to the sleep deprivation they are about to face!
I have really been freaking out thinking about how close we are to having this baby!
Am I ready?? Sure I have the stuff, but I don't know about this 24/7 business! I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't a little nervous about caring for another human being. I'm sure it will be fine, but it's just crazy that 9 months has flown by so quick!
I'm really excited to meet this little guy, because it doesn't feel real yet!
Ok well that's all I have to say about that. I should be having this baby any day so I'll keep you updated.
