My Birthday in Vegas!

I love Vegas and with the baby coming we decided we'd get in one last trip down there. It was my birthday on the 19th so we drove down that day and went to eat at Top of the World. It's on top of the Stratosphere and it's Amazing! The floor rotates so you really get a 360' view!

On Saturday we went to the BYU Bowl game, it was fun, but they lost, and that wasn't fun. :(And what's Vegas without a little gambling! We did pretty well and had so much fun!
We were walking around TI waiting to go to Mystere (which is incredible!) and we bumped into poker ledgend Scotty Nguyen! You can tell from this pic how excited Dave was to meet him! He has won the World Series of Poker 5 times!

Quote of the day

Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater.
If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby.
If you give her a house, she'll giveyou a home.
If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.
If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart.
She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.

Then later that day we got a Christmas tree and put up our lights. I love decorating the house and making it festive!
This last friday we went to a friends party and it was really fun! The guys played Ping Pong, but everytime someone lost they all got to hit a ping pong ball at their bare back! Here are some pics of the damage!

Wedding in Florida

Kendra and I met 5 years ago when we were both camp counslers for a kids summer camp in New York. We were instant friends and have done a pretty good job staying in touch since camp.
This is us 5 years ago (below)

Last weekend I went to Florida to see her get married! It was so much fun! The wedding was very high class and nicer than any wedding I have ever been to!
There were fun activites the whole weekend. We had a spa day, welcome party at the beach, the wedding, the dancing, the sun... Oh it was fantastic! This is Kenras parents house where we stayed... It's so PIMP!!

Mummy or Mommy

This costume was from last year and I wasn't sure if I'd fit into it,
but it worked out pretty well.

Last night was our ward's "Trunk or Treat." It was lots of fun because we got to decorate our trunk. We don't really have a ton of halloween stuff so we dressed up our Santa too! I think we confused some kids who were thinking "What holiday is this?" Dave was laughing at me because kids would come around a few times so I started getting stingy with the candy! I mean come on what do you expect, I'm a pregnant lady around chocolate, I'm going to give it away sparingly!!

Utah Jazz Preseason! Bring it on...

We went to a preseason Jazz game and it was so much fun! I love the Jazz! We played the Phoenix Suns and that was fun besides the fact that Raja Bell used to be my Favorite player and he was traded to the Suns so everytime I see him I continually feel betrayed. Dave will even rub it in by saying, "Ring the bell." Oh it's tragic!I'm also happy to say that my camera made it through the game. It was this time last year that I squished my old camera in the folding seat.

Bear Lake and the Fall Foliage!

The Fall is my favorite season!! (although I say that with every new season!) Dave and I went up to Bear Lake and it was so pretty! This is our favorite sign! It's so sweet!

Husband of the year award

So to start I would like to say that Dave LOVES BYU. He bought season tickets this year as soon as they went on sale, he has tons of BYU gear, has a sticker on his car, and gets so pumped for the games.
Today was a game day and I thought I would go with him. I got all hyped up with him, we dressed the part, had binoculars, a camera, and made the 2 hour drive down early enough to check out all the pregame stuff.
We got there found our seats and had a few hot dogs. The game started and there was music and cheering, and I was doing my best to make sure I was being a good date.
Well it was really freaking hot! I was trying to stay hydrated, even drank water on the way to the game. I was sweating pretty bad, so I untucked my shirt and fanned it a bit. I chewed on ice and just tried to relax.
We weren't even through the 1st quarter when I started getting really dizzy and light headed. I thought, "Oh I'll be fine it's just hot", then I thought "Maybe I'll just walk down to the concessions and sit in the shade for a minute." Then I thought, "If I stand up, I'll pass out." Then I grabbed Dave's arm and said "You need to get me out of here right now!" He stood up and walked me to the shaded hallway under the seats and I sat down on the ground and everything was just spinning. Dave was off getting me water and it wasn't long till the EMT was taking my blood pressure. He said there were lots of people feeling this same way today. I think it was almost 100 degrees.
I told Dave I was feeling better and I would just hang out for a while so he could go back in and watch the game. He looked at the EMT and the EMT said I need some air conditioning and no more sun today. So Dave said "That's it, I'm taking you home."
He scooped me up and off we went, he gently set me in the shade under a tree while he pulled the car up. He bought 2 more bottles of water on our way out and made me pound them like I was in college again!!
I felt so bad about him having to leave the game, but he didn't care at all. He didn't say one word about missing the game, he just said that I was more important than football. I have never fainted before, but I was really scared I might today.
Thanks honey for helping your heat exhausted pregnant wife out, you win the award for best husband ever!

Jackson & Yellowstone

Dave and I went up to Bear Lake for Raspberry days this last weekend we stayed for 1 day and it was just so crowded and crazy so we took off to Jackson and Yellowstone!
We had so much fun. We're really trying to embrace our last opportunities to be spontaneous before baby.
It was such a blast!
In Jackson we ate at Mile high pizza Pie and I ordered bad. Man, being pregnant things sound good and then don't taste good. Then when things are good I eat too much and get sick!! Oh brother.

Later that night we went to a show at the Jackson Hole Playhouse!
It was a friday night so it was pretty packed up there. I called tons of places and everywhere was sold out, we finally found this little motel called The Golden Eagle, just 2 blocks from the town square that was surprisingly clean. We weren't sure what to expect, but we really lucked out.
The next morning we drove to the South entrance of Yellowstone. We did the small loop and saw so many great things. We didn't see a bear, but saw just about everything else.
