Teeth!

I was able to catch a peek at Sawyers two little teeth! Oh he is so cute and these little
teeth are cute too. Sometimes he gets a little cranky with his teeth, but not really too bad.

First time in a swing!!

We went to a friends house today and Sawyer got to experience a swing for the first time! he had fun. He gets a really serious face when he really likes something. It take a few times doing it and then he will smile.

I am having a blast with my camera! I am loving taking pictures!

Wow he is sitting up!

Sawyer is growing so fast! Everyone said it would happen, but I didn't really believe it! Dave and I are so in love with him!

Dave has been really busy with school and work. He'll wake up and leave just as Sawyer is waking up. He'll change his diaper and give him to me then he has to leave. By the time he gets home at night Sawyer is already in bed. Dave pulls him out of his crib and just holds him as he sleeps. Dave is busy, but only about 1 year to go and he'll be done.

I love sunday afternoons

Dave and I have just been taking it easy today! I taught him how to use the new camera (I mean come on, I would like to be in the pictures sometime!)

Here is one of his pictures. He was so funny taking it too. He pause and say "Ok now do this with your arms, look this way" it was fun!

Really... it's that easy??

Freezer jam ladies and gentlemen is the best thing ever!

I went to a Church activity and we learned how to make this amazing stuff and I have made 20 bottles since.

It's so easy! Here are the steps

1. Cut up fruit (or use a food processor)

2. Add Sugar, stir

3. Add pectin and Lemon Juice, stir

4. Put in bottles

It's good in the fridge for 3 months and the freezer for 1 year!

Like father like son

Sawyers Blankee

Sawyer loves his blue blanket.

I didn't want to get him attached to one blanket because then if we ever forgot it or lost it he would be mad.

Well he started pulling all blakets on his face so I gave him this one because it wasn't thick and he could still breath through it.

He LOVES it now. We'll give it to him and he grabs it, shoves his fingers through the holes and nestles it onto his face.

OK So i really love taking pictures! I took a photography workshop on Saturday and here are a few of my shots. I need practice so if anyone wants me to snap some pics of them let me know!

6 month Dr. visit

Sawyer had his 6 month checkup today.

Weight 19lbs 13oz 91%

Lenght 28 inches 90%

Head 45cm 88%

He sure is a big boy!

He was happy and in a good mood, until the shots!

As soon as we got in the stroller where he could look around he was ok. It makes me a little sad to see him cry like this, but I know he'll forget about it in about ten minutes!
Being a mom is so great! I love hangin out with Sawyer and playing with him. He really makes life much more fun (more work, but more fun).

Biggest Fish in Bear Lake... Well not anymore!

My dad caught an 18 pound lake trout on Labor Day! We have been fishing there for years and this is the biggest fish he's ever caught!! Go Dad!
